Avril Lavigne had to go and make things so complicated by swearing during a baseball game at the weekend - and now she's had to apologise.
The 26-year-old Canadian singer burst into an expletive-filled rant during the Tampa Bay Rays' game in Tampa, Florida on Saturday.
Unfortunately, her F-word rant was heard by over 24,000 people.
Lavigne had experienced technical issues during her performance at the game which gave way to the crowd booing her.
She then hit back saying that 'sound problems f***ing happen on a baseball field.'
Later that night, the Complicated singer apologised for losing her temper.
'We just had so much fun tonight and we want to take the tirade out and say thank you to the Tampa Bay Rays!' she told the audience.
'I'm truly sorry if anyone was offended by my language', she said contritely.
The Rays released a statement on Sunday saying that they were upset by Lavigne's language.
It read: 'The Rays demand profanity-free performances from all of our concert performers and we are extremely disappointed by the language used in last night's show.'
Meanwhile Lavigne has put her Bel Air marital home on the market that she once shared with ex-husband Deryck Whibley.
The former couple are asking for $9.5million for the 12,184 square-foot eight-bedroom mansion.
Lavigne and Whibley were married for just over three years after announcing their split in September 2009 with their divorce finalised in November 2010.
Since the split, Lavigne has been dating Brody Jenner, the former The Hills star, who is stepbrother of the Kardashian sisters.
The couple have been together last February and she even has his name etched under her breast. He has a tattoo of Avril's name on his arm.
