The petite actress was seen leaving a restaurant with New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez on Monday afternoon.
Hayden, 21, had been dining with the football star and another couple at In-N-Out Burger in Laguna Beach.

And as the pair left the eatery they looked happy and relaxed with smiles on their faces.
Mark, who stands at 6ft 2, strode ahead of Miss Panettiere in a pair of shorts and a plain white T-shirt while the actress, who is 5ft 1, followed in a pair of dark jeans and a white T-shirt.
The Scream 4 actress split from her heavyweight champion boxer boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko just two weeks ago, citing the long distance nature of their relationship as a problem.

Hayden’s statement read: 'While we decided to split, we feel great sympathy and respect for each other and will surely stay close friends.'
Wladimir, 35, added: 'We have had a great time together. But more and more we realised how difficult it is to maintain a relationship when living on two continents.
'I cherish Hayden as a person and woman and I'm sure we will stay friends.'

Meanwhile Hayden’s old flame Klitschko - whose brother Vitali Klitschko is also a world champion boxer - is currently in training for his heavyweight title unification bout with British fighter David Haye which takes place at the Imtech Arena in Hamburg, Germany, on July 2.
