Miss Minogue, who turned 43 last week, looked stunning in an intricate, backless blue dress.
Kylie told press at a backstage tour of her $10 million stage how she feels about performing again on home soil.
'I definitely get a little more excited and a little nervous, and I just try to make that work in my favour,' she said.
'In my mind it is [a tougher crowd to play] sometimes but I'm at home and there is so much love and joy and everything great about being home.'
Despite basing herself in London for much of the past two decades, Kylie says she could never choose between her adopted and native homes.
'If it had to choose to be the other side of the world and that was it, I don't know if I could do that,' she said.
'My life is on both sides of the world, travel is the way it is at the moment.'
Following her hugely successful tour of Europe, Asia and America, Kylie will play dates in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, before embarking on extra shows in Asia and ending in South Africa in July.
