But amongst the barbecues and playing children, Maria Shriver appeared pensive and quiet as she walked her dog on the sea shore. The 55-year-old was joined by two friends for her stroll on beach.

The previous evening Shriver had gone out for dinner at Tra Di Noi restaurant in Malibu with three of her four children - Christopher and daughters Katherine, 21, and Christina, 19. It is understood Patrick, 17, was not in attendance.
However, he had spent time with his family over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, tweeting on Saturday: 'Nothing could be better than going to hit up the Malibu house.'

The former California Governor's family has been thrust into the spotlight after it emerged he fathered a secret love-child with their housekeeper of 20 years, Mildred ‘Patty’ Baena. Joseph Baena, is now 13 years old.

But Schwarzenegger’s attorney hit back at the claims made by law enforcement officer William Taylor and said the reports were ‘totally and completely false.’
Fresh reports have also surfaced today with a former nanny who worked at the Schwarzenegger household during the Mildred 'Patty' Baena years saying Arnie used to flirt with her.
But the unnamed woman said that he never got physical with her.
She told TMZ.com: '[He] was a flirt, but he never touched me inappropriately, or anyone else that I could tell.'

The woman says many employees picked up on the resemblance between Patty's son and Arnold, but that Mildred only admitted her husband was not the father without any further elaboration.
Maria tweeted this Memorial Day weekend, saying she was remembering all those had died in the line of duty.
'This weekend, I'm thinking of all who gave their life, and all the families who lost a loved one, in service to this great country,' she tweeted on Sunday.
'You have our deepest gratitude and respect. God bless.'
